Berries: The Redder the Better

Red grapes, cranberries, cherries, pomegranates, acai berries, raspberries, even blueberries — red fruits are loaded with antioxidants. And that's a good thing for mind and body!

When it comes to eating berries, did you know a good rule of thumb is, “the redder, the better?”

WebMD says the antioxidants found in red berries can even help reduce anxiety and depression. And Science Daily reports that:

Strong scientific evidence exists that eating blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and other berry fruits has beneficial effects on the brain and may help prevent age-related memory loss and other changes, scientists report.
