Breast Cancer Awareness Month

If you’re seeing pink everywhere lately, relax, it’s not a medical condition. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You’ll see pink on professional football and basketball players’ uniforms, pink ribbons, hats, shirts, hair extensions, and more.

At Braselton Urgent Care, we hope all this pink will inspire our patients to pay close attention to their bodies. Early detection is one of the best defenses. Annual screenings, self-checks and knowing some of the signs and symptoms can help you stay ahead of breast cancer or catch it early.

We highly recommend that you see your primary care physician and get on track with preventive measures. If you do not have a primary care physician, we can help. Come by and see us with any questions or concerns.
